Clients and networks

Choose connected or read-only clients and configure Sapphire testnet or mainnet deliberately.

Connected client

Use Monstera.connect for writes. The signer pays Sapphire gas for wallet creation and state-changing operations.

Read-only access

SDK 2.3.0 supports signer-free reads with Monstera.connect({ mainnet: false, checkVersion: false }). Public lookup and address derivation need no authenticator proof. Signing is an authenticated view and still requires a valid proof.
